Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) hosts the SDF Grant Committee Retreat to approve the SDF III Call 1 application process under the PSGYE.

The Grant Committee is a high-level body that oversees SDF operations. Its main functions include making decisions on grant applications for SDF funding, allocating funds, and reviewing reports from the SDF Secretariat for approval.
Against this background, a one-day retreat was organized for the Grant Committee members on 7 March 2025 at Rwanda Polytechnic, Kigali. The objective of the retreat was to approve the results of the PSGYE-SDF Call 1 application process, which was launched in December 2024.
Mr. Eduard NDAYISABA, the Chairperson of the Grant Committee welcomed all participants and highlighted the positive collaboration with the Rwanda TVET Board. The Director General of the Rwanda TVET Board (DG/RTB) expressed gratitude to the grant committee members for accepting the invitation to discuss and approve the results of the first application process under the PSGYE-SDF call. He acknowledged the valuable contributions and guidance of the SDF Grant Committee, which have been instrumental in enabling the SDF to achieve the targets set in previous phases.

- Approval of the recommended companies from RDB
- Presentation of the revised price reference for the SDF
- Recommendations and proposed way forward
All members of the Grant Committee attended the session. They were from PSF, RDB, MIFOTRA, MINICOM, and MOYA. RTB was represented by the Director General, the SPIU Coordinator, and the SDF Secretariat.
The retreat approved the outcomes of the application process and endorsed the revised price reference.
