Rwanda TVET Board holds an Orientation meeting on the Implementation of RPL Guidelines
On 25th April, at Rwanda TVET Board a meeting gathered RTB staff and training institutions that will implement the Recognition of Prior Learning under the SDF framework. The meeting was convened by RTB to discuss the implementation modalities of RPL focussing on the preparatory activities that they all called to do.
Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) hosts the World Bank Implementation Support Mission
Today, 27 March 2025, the Rwanda TVET Board hosted the World Bank team to discuss the progress of the Skills Development Fund (SDF) and other activities under the PSGYE being implemented by the Rwanda TVET Board.
Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) sets the requirements for institutions and industries to apply for authorization to deliver short courses.
Unemployment remains one of the key challenges facing young people, and technical short-term training offers a solution to this issue. The NEET category in Rwanda consists of individuals from all educational backgrounds. To address this challenge, the Rwanda TVET Board calls on all institutions, including industries, to actively participate and contribute to the skills development of Rwandan youth through short-term training programs.

The most preferable training approach to be used by applying company is Company based training (On job training) and can identify local or international experts/training provider to facilitate the training, but the SDF Secretariat may assist if needed.
